obedient to God
“I will not cede more power to the state. I will not willingly cede more power to anyone, not to the state, not to General Motors, not to the CIO. I will hoard my power like a miser, resisting every effort to drain it away from me. I will then use my power, as I see fit. I mean to live my life an obedient man, but obedient to God, subservient to the wisdom of my ancestors; never to the authority of political truths arrived at yesterday at the voting booth.” William F. Buckley Jr.

Hey Kev, what was your intent by linking the phrase “the wisdom” to that particular audio clip?

Buckley liked Rush.
It seemed fitting.

I don’t think it’s just a particular audio clip…it seems to be the streaming radio, right? I had the radio on, and when I clicked on the link, it was at the exact same point.

yes, it’s streaming audio of a radio station down in Florida.
so the linking is fitting between 11am-2pm CST M-F.

Yeah, I found out that it was a stream the second time I clicked on it and it was something completely different. That is why I was a little confused about the link since it sent me to audio that was in the middle of a statement and rather random.
