Ok, I am curious. In previous posts, you have spoke of your affinity to consumption taxes. But these articles today are bemoaning the problems associated with consumption taxes. How do you reconcile these two positions?
Okay… a moment of explanation and clarification to end this tedious affair.
Up until this morning, I have never heard you use the phrase “I live comfortably in my paradox.” (of course, this doesn’t mean that you’ve never said it, but I’ve just never heard it; but it also seems out of character for you.) On the other hand, you have heard me state this many times before.
So, in the spirit of the Danielson brothers who often ask for proper citation of your statements, I thought I would just ask for proper recognition (while fully recognizing that I am not alone in uttering this phrase either, but possibly one of the few within your circle)…. so that is that.
Here ends this tedious affair. (Though it would be nice to hear a little more of an answer to Peter’s question that a one sentence quip.)

I’m expecting proper citation.
May 5th, 2008 at 10:55 am

May 5th, 2008 at 10:55 am
Nevermind…..
May 5th, 2008 at 11:02 am
oh, do you want me to cite all my paradoxes?
right… that would be a nice long post.
then again, maybe it would be short, hmmmm.
May 5th, 2008 at 11:09 am
No… actually, I wasn’t aware that you were comfortable with paradoxes until 9:51 this morning.
May 5th, 2008 at 11:15 am
ooooh, had I looked uncomfortable before? if i did, it must have been an act
i’ve always tried to live by a quote i read by Neil T. Anderson: “somewhere along the line, i’m wrong.”
May 5th, 2008 at 11:21 am
That’s a nice quote to live by, but acknowledging that you are sometimes wrong doesn’t have much to do with paradoxes….

I’m expecting proper citation.
lmao!
