What is the connection between these two comments? What do they mean to you? One is from one of the most inspirational and literate agnostic ever. The other is the famed author of over 20 books that were banned by most Christian groups who later converted to a form of mystical Catholicism that led her to write an apocryphal book about Jesus’s early life.
I mean I like both of these people, but of unsure about the connection between them or their quotes.

I like the first one because I think it’s a good way to look at people. Some people are nice, and some people are not. Instead of grouping people by what they believe, I think it’s insightful to group people based on behaviors.
and I never thought that someone could be drawn to God just by looking at how the Jews have survived through the ages against all odds. fascinating.
